Light Blue Escape to Panarea by Dolce&Gabbana Fragrance Review

Light Blue Escape to Panarea
Dolce&Gabbana has added a new version of Light Blue to the line and it is AWESOME. It has some of the highlights from the first fragrance, but to me it smells completely different. It is such a disappointment when design houses throw out new fragrances from a line that all smell the same, but Escape to Panarea is far from disappointing.

When I wear this fragrance I smell sweet, salty, citrus, bitter, clean, and also a bit dirty all in one. When first sprayed there is a sweet almost salty smell which comes from the ambergris in the fragrance. There's some pear there and a light juicy citrus aroma in the background. It is a very elegant and sophisticated mixture. It also smells lightly bitter due to the bergamot.

After a few minutes it starts to smell clean and a bit musky from the base. The white florals start to play after about 15 minutes in with notes of jasmine and orange blossom. In the end, I get this musky cream aroma and I love it. The tonka bean comes out and settles into your skin for the final product.

Now this perfume is great don't get me wrong, but there is just one downfall. It sadly does not last on my skin very long. I have to bring around a travel size atomizer with me wherever I go so that I can reapply throughout the day. I don't mind much because I love the perfume, but it would be nice if I didn't have to reapply so much.

When I wear this I want to lay on the beach in my bohemian sundress and floppy hat. It is one of those fragrances that gives off a summery-ocean vibe. It is also very inoffensive and light so you can wear it in the office without any complaints, which is nice. All in all a great fragrance with little lasting power, but worth it if you can find the time to keep reapplying.
