Dahlia Divin: A Must Have for Fall 2014

Dahlia Divin is now available at most stores and is supposed to be available worldwide by September. This fragrance follows the path of the Dahlia Noir line that started in 2011, though, it smells completely different unlike most flankers these days. This was a surprising, delightful discovery and my nose cannot get enough.

This is a woody-white floral fragrance, centered around a white floral bouquet of jasmine. Upon first spray, it is a tad balsamic and sweet, most likely from the note of plum. The jasmine then begins to show and is rich and creamy throughout the heart. The patchouli is a nice touch in the base, as it makes the fragrance rich and strong. Sandalwood and vetiver also lie in the base, leaving a lingering woody scent on your skin long after being sprayed.

This is very long lasting and can still be smelled after 8 hours of wearing. The sillage is not too strong to be annoying, but strong enough to be noticed as you walk by. This is elegant, glamorous, and sophisticated. This is going to be my go-to perfume for day and night in fall and winter.
